What themes do we explore in the game?
The Glacier Law
It is based on real and highly debated legislation in Argentina (Law 26.639), whose purpose is to protect freshwater reserves and biodiversity from extractive activities such as large-scale mining.
The pressures to reform it or evade it are current conflicts.
Cognitive decline in old age
Facing a key witness suffering from severe amnesia, the player must search for hidden information in the surroundings. The goal is to use this information to stimulate the former official's memory and uncover, step by step, his murky connection to the controversial reform of Law 26.639.
The extractivist model and the climate crisis
We want to raise the direct consequences of prioritizing the intensive extraction of natural resources over environmental care, reflecting the current global ecological crisis and the collapse of ecosystems in a dystopian future.

How did this project begin?
This project began on April 13, 2026, and took 13 days to develop. This game emerged from the Emergency Game Jam III: Glaciers , organized by Acción Dev, with the purpose of raising awareness about the reform of Law 26.639.
The project aims to raise awareness about large-scale mining in Argentina, its consequences, and the shady politics behind it. We hope to do our part for this cause.
